Plaza Distribution (Pvt) Ltd is a subsidiary of Plaza Holdings, which also includes Plaza Pharmacies, Plaza Properties and Plaza Paints. Plaza Pharmacies being the oldest of the companies and registered in 1997.
Plaza Distribution (Pvt) Ltd was registered in September 2004 and commenced operations within November 2004 in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Plaza Distribution (Pvt) Ltd started as a company that started off specializing in the distribution of imported and locally manufactured pharmaceutical and medical products to institutions legally registered to buy medicines according to Medicines and Allied substances Act [Chapter 15.03]. However, as time went by Plaza Distribution (Pvt) Ltd started venturing into fast moving consumer goods which are associated with health such as dental floss, artificial sweeteners, glucose, condoms, natural herbal medicines, Blood pressure and Blood glucose monitors, pregnancy tests, thermometers and various products for everyday use such as methylated spirits, hydrogen peroxide just to mention some of the products.
Products and Brands Plaza Distribution (Pvt) Ltd developed its own brand of health care products ‘Nature’ in 2012 as a response to the market needs and demands and to date include ‘Nature’ glucose powder, hydrogen peroxide, eucalyptus oil, glycerine, potassium permanganate, methylated spirit and liquid paraffin which are all supplied to Pharmacies, Hospitals, Clinics, Retail outlets and Wholesalers across the country. Within 2013 Plaza Distribution (Pvt) Ltd was given the go ahead to sell its own Condom brand ‘Vibe’ by the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe after passing all the stringent testing requirements required by the body. Plaza Distribution (Pvt) Ltd has recently been given the Distributorship rights to sell and distribute ‘Selati’ Sweeteners within Zimbabwe as one of the products it current distributes. Other brands include ‘LifeTime’ dental floss and toothpicks for which the company has exclusive distributorship within Zimbabwe and ‘Andon’ Blood glucose and blood pressure machines. Plaza Pharmacies, which has been operating since 1997 and is one of the leading retail Pharmacy chains in Zimbabwe having been in the business for 17 years. The retail Pharmacy chain deals directly with the public as well as corporate clients including non-governmental organizations which has also allowed it to build strong relationships with all major medical aid societies within the country. The company through its management team has been instrumental in pioneering the use of technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency of administration of medical aid schemes and bringing greater customer satisfaction to its customers.
